Come and join us on Sunday, November 5th to celebrate the Holy Mass, participate in the discussion and try some genuine Hungarian dishes.
Science and Religion – talk by Jose Pedro Vieira
Nowadays, science and religion are often presented as conflicting concepts – but are they really? While focusing mostly on the western Christian tradition, we shall briefly review how faith and reason have helped shape each other’s paths over the course of history. Starting from the personal point of view of one Catholic theoretical physicist on specific topical issues, we shall then discuss how the two can be reconciled in today’s world.
Agenda for the evening:
5:00 – 5:40 pm Music rehearsal in the Church
5:15 – 5:45 pm Confession with Fr. Pawel (in English, Danish and Polish; other day by appointment)
6 pm Holy Mass
7 pm Dinner – delicious Hungarian specialities
(We will kindly ask for a voluntary contribution towards the food costs. You are also welcome to bring something to share)
