Hello everyone!
Next Saturday, February 14th, we’re watching the Pope’s fourth and final favorite film: Ordinary People.
The story follows a seemingly “perfect” American family trying to get back to normal after a traumatic event. As the teenage son struggles with grief, guilt, and anxiety, his parents cope in very different ways—one trying to reconnect, the other clinging to appearances. It’s an intense and touching film about healing, communication, and what happens when emotions stay unspoken.
The format will be the similar to last time: we will have a potluck dinner together at 18h30 and then watch the film as 20h.
