Jubilee Pilgrimage to the Cathedral

The year 2025 is a special Jubilee Year, when the Church invites us to seek God’s grace in a deeper way. Many people travel to Rome for this occasion – but you don’t have to go that far! In Denmark, there are five specially designated Jubilee churches, and one of them is our Catholic Cathedral in Bredgade: Sankt Ansgars Kirke.
On Saturday, 1 November, you are invited to join CAYAC for a short pilgrimage to the Cathedral. This simple journey can help you fulfil the conditions for receiving a plenary indulgence. 👉 Learn more about indulgences in this short video: Watch here
Programme:
• 14:00 – Opening prayer in Sankt Augustins Kirke
After the prayer, we will walk together to Bredgade.
• 15:00 – Arrival at the Cathedral and a brief prayer service
• 15:15 – Opportunity for confession, with Fr. Daniel or Fr. Claudio, the Cathedral chaplain
There is no fixed ending time—you are welcome to stay and pray in the church for as long as you wish.
