DESCRIPTION:NB: THE RETREAT IS ALREADY FULLY BOOKED \nIf you are searching for a profound way of getting closer to God\, you should consider this silent retreat for CAYAC members. \nParticipation is possible only if you are able to attend the entire retreat and observe the requirement of silence. The number of participants is limited to 10. \nAge group: 18-35 years. \nPrice: DKK 300 per person. \nPlace: Vor Frue Kloster\, Høsterkøbvej 1\, 3460 Birkerød. Accommodation is in single rooms\, most of them with private bathrooms. 7 persons can join the minibus to get there\, the rest most go there themselves. \nThe retreat will be led by Fr. Daniel and is rooted in the spirituality of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Its theme is “Is the Lord in our midst or not?” (Exodus 17:7). Together we will explore the challenging aspects of the spiritual life\, when God seems hidden and faith becomes difficult. \nTime: Friday 21 November\, we meet at 5:00 pm at Sankt Augustins Kirke. You can also meet up directly at Aasebakken around 5.30 pm. We finish Sunday 23 November around 2:30 pm. \nThe meals: The food is made by Naja and will be vegetarian. \nThe silence: Most of the retreat takes place in silence\, so you cannot talk to the other participants from Friday at 8:30 pm to Sunday at 11:00 am. Your phone must be in flight mode\, turned off\, or you can hand it over. You get presentations\, texts and spiritual exercises\, so you don’t have to worry about how time will pass. Please don’t bring homework or duties to fulfil. There is also ample opportunity for walks in the surrounding area\, especially in the beautiful Rude Skov. It’s a haunting story about love\, sacrifice\, and hope – but be warned: this is an exceptionally sad and emotionally demanding film. Many viewers find it hard to watch\, and at 140 minutes it’s an intense experience. \nThe film won the Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000 for Best Picture. The Icelandic singer Björk stars in her first acting role and received the award for Best Actress. SUMMARY:Autumn Walk in the Colours of the Season
DESCRIPTION:Experience autumn on a hike through Skjoldungernes Land National Park and Ledreborg Castle Park on Saturday\, 25 October.We meet at Østerport Station  at 10:15 (sharp!). The route is just under 20 km\, from Hvalsø to Lejre. Along the way\, we will be welcomed inside the beautiful Ledreborg Castle\, where we will pause for a short prayer service in the castle chapel. \nPlease bring your own lunch and suitable clothing for hiking.We recommend buying a DSB Orange ticket in advance from Østerport Station to Hvalsø Station for the 10:29 train (price: 30 DKK).We plan to take a return train from Lejre at 16:14 (but don’t buy the return ticket yet\, as the time may change). You can expect to be back in Copenhagen around 17:00. \nIn CAYAC’s WhatsApp group we will ask people to register for the trip in order to know how many people will join.

Marco will guide us into the spiritual depth and transformative power of Montfortian consecration\, showing how this path of devotion remains deeply relevant in today’s world. Drawing from the rich spirituality of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort\, he will help us rediscover the meaning of giving ourselves totally to Jesus through Mary. \nA Pathway for Consecration \nAlongside the talk\, the society will introduce a new pathway of preparation for Montfortian consecration\, which began in May 2025 at St. Antony’s Church. Please arrive by 14:45 so we can get to know each other and organize teams of three for the canoes. \n🚆 How to get there: I recommend taking the S-train and getting off at Sorgenfri Station. From there\, it’s just a short walk to the rental location. \n🛶 Route: Once we have the canoes\, we’ll paddle to the left following the canal. DESCRIPTION:Join us for IBM on Tuesday 2 September at 6.30 pm! \nEvery first Tuesday of the month\, Fr. Daniel will offer a short introduction to a Bible passage and guide participants in using some of Saint Ignatius’ methods for meditating on it. Each session includes about 10 minutes of introduction\, 30 minutes of silent personal meditation\, and 10 minutes of sharing.
