DESCRIPTION:NB: THE RETREAT IS ALREADY FULLY BOOKED \nIf you are searching for a profound way of getting closer to God\, you should consider this silent retreat for CAYAC members. \nParticipation is possible only if you are able to attend the entire retreat and observe the requirement of silence. The number of participants is limited to 10. \nAge group: 18-35 years. \nPrice: DKK 300 per person. \nPlace: Vor Frue Kloster\, Høsterkøbvej 1\, 3460 Birkerød. Accommodation is in single rooms\, most of them with private bathrooms. 7 persons can join the minibus to get there\, the rest most go there themselves. \nThe retreat will be led by Fr. Daniel and is rooted in the spirituality of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Its theme is “Is the Lord in our midst or not?” (Exodus 17:7). Together we will explore the challenging aspects of the spiritual life\, when God seems hidden and faith becomes difficult. \nTime: Friday 21 November\, we meet at 5:00 pm at Sankt Augustins Kirke. You can also meet up directly at Aasebakken around 5.30 pm. We finish Sunday 23 November around 2:30 pm. \nThe meals: The food is made by Naja and will be vegetarian. \nThe silence: Most of the retreat takes place in silence\, so you cannot talk to the other participants from Friday at 8:30 pm to Sunday at 11:00 am. Your phone must be in flight mode\, turned off\, or you can hand it over. You get presentations\, texts and spiritual exercises\, so you don’t have to worry about how time will pass. Please don’t bring homework or duties to fulfil. There is also ample opportunity for walks in the surrounding area\, especially in the beautiful Rude Skov. DESCRIPTION:Experience autumn on a hike through Skjoldungernes Land National Park and Ledreborg Castle Park on Saturday\, 25 October.We meet at Østerport Station  at 10:15 (sharp!). The route is just under 20 km\, from Hvalsø to Lejre. Along the way\, we will be welcomed inside the beautiful Ledreborg Castle\, where we will pause for a short prayer service in the castle chapel. \nPlease bring your own lunch and suitable clothing for hiking.We recommend buying a DSB Orange ticket in advance from Østerport Station to Hvalsø Station for the 10:29 train (price: 30 DKK).We plan to take a return train from Lejre at 16:14 (but don’t buy the return ticket yet\, as the time may change).
