DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday 15 August for a special Movie Night with the classic 1988 film Rain Man\, starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. \nRaymond (Dustin Hoffman) is an autistic man with extraordinary abilities whose life changes when his younger brother Charlie (Tom Cruise) discovers that they are brothers. What begins as a difficult journey gradually becomes a moving story about family\, relationships and learning to see the world through someone else’s eyes. \nRain Man won 4 Academy Awards\, including Best Picture\, Best Actor for Dustin Hoffman\, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. \nDinner from 6:30 PM\nIf you would like to join for dinner\, bring a little food to share with everyone! If the weather allows it we can sit in the garden\, and you can use our big grill for doing BBQ. \nThe movie starts at 8:00 PM (it lasts around 2 hours)\nEnglish audio with English subtitles \nYou can enter the brick room and the garden through Englesalen from the side door at the back of the church

DESCRIPTION:Join us for another CAYAC Movie Night on Saturday 29 August! \n🍝 Dinner: From 18:30 (bring a bit of food to share)\n🎬 Movie: 20:00 (you are welcome to join only for the movie) \nThis time we’ll watch the iconic 1967 film The Graduate\, starring Dustin Hoffman\, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross. \nBenjamin Braddock has just graduated from college\, but instead of knowing what to do with his life\, he finds himself drifting into an unexpected and complicated relationship with the seductive Mrs. Robinson. Funny\, awkward and at times surprisingly melancholic\, The Graduate is a classic story about growing up\, expectations and trying to figure out what you actually want from life. \nAnd then there’s the music…\nThe film features an unforgettable soundtrack by Simon & Garfunkel\, including The Sound of Silence\, Scarborough Fair\, and\, of course\, Mrs. Robinson. Their music is woven so beautifully into the film that it almost becomes another character in the story. \nSo come for dinner\, stay for the movie — and perhaps leave wondering what exactly you’re supposed to do with your life after graduation. \nEveryone is welcome!
