On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10). It is followed by Easter, the glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, heralding his victory over sin and death and pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united to him by faith (Romans 6:5).
The liturgy will start in Saint Augustine’s Church at Jagtvej 183D Copenhagen on April 10th at 6 pm.
Good Friday, we know. And Easter most certainly. But what is Maundy Thursday? Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter, believed to be the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with His disciples. Most notably, that Passover meal was when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility. He then commanded them to do the same for each other.
The liturgy will start in Saint Augustine’s Church at Jagtvej 183D Copenhagen on April 9th at 6 pm.
Accompany Jesus on the path of passion which brings you to resurrection. Let the Lord lead you through your own dark valley towards broad horizons. Defeat the fear of suffering and death together with Him who is our life. Come and participate in the Stations of the Cross.

Hey cayacers! I want to start longer adorations at Saint Augustine’s on this Saturday. Same day we commemorate Saint Paul’s conversion in the Catholic Church. What a coincidence! For the next ones always check our calendar cause they may not happen on regular basis every week.
Dear Friends, I would like to wish to all of you the joy that finds its source in Lord’s nativity and the joy of being reborn in Him! These days I pray in a special way that you may experience it!
Fr Pawel Ben SJ
